SAP elevates Manish Prasad as president and MD for Indian subcontinent

German enterprise software maker SAP has elevated Manish Prasad as the new president and managing director for the Indian subcontinent.

German enterprise software maker SAP has elevated Manish Prasad as the new president and managing director for the Indian subcontinent, marking a significant transition within the company.

Prasad takes over from Kulmeet Bawa, who will now focus on promoting the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) on a global scale.

With a career spanning over two decades, Prasad brings diverse experience to his new role, having demonstrated his capabilities in leading strategic initiatives for prominent Indian customers in sectors such as metals, mining, and automotive, said the company.

His previous roles have seen him manage and develop SAP’s business across diverse geographies including North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia, showcasing his ability to drive growth and innovation on a global scale, said a statement.

Operating from , Prasad will directly report to Paul Marriott, taking on the responsibility to strengthen SAP’s presence in the Indian Subcontinent and drive its cloud transition initiatives.

“India is at a moment in its digital transformation journey, embracing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, marking an era of unprecedented possibilities,” Prasad stated.
