DIGITAL SENATE AWARDS

Digital Senate Awards have been constituted to encourage innovation, excellence and use of technology in the field of the public sector, BFSI and Cyber Security. Organisations from both government and private sector and individuals who have immensely contributed towards technology proliferation can nominate their outstanding projects and efforts for evaluation and recognition.

Who Can Apply

Public Sector
The awards categories are open to all kinds of public sector organisations including government departments, PSU and state corporations.

BFSI
In BFSI, Banks, Insurance Companies, NBFCs, MFIs, Housing Finance Companies and Corporates providing services or solutions to the BFSI sector can apply.

Cyber Security
Organisations that are dealing in cyber security space such as cyber security companies and government organisation can nominate their projects.

Individual
Other than the organisations, Digital Senate will also recognise and confer awards and recognition to technology leaders who have immensely contributed for the promotion of innovation, excellence and use of technology under CIO, CXO, CISO and GovTech categories.

Basic Rules to Follow

  • Nominees can nominate themselves in any number of categories.
  • Nominees are required to share at least one project or a maximum of three projects in a category.
  • The general category is open for all kinds of organisations and individual categories are only for individuals technology leaders.
  • Your project will be evaluated and scored based on social and economic impact, replicability, cost benefits, innovation and effectiveness.
  • Only those entries that are duly filled will be considered for the award.
  • An entry will be considered as submitted only after all mandatory details have been filled.
  • Last date to submit entries for the Awards is April 15, 2021
  • Jury Meet: 01 June 2021 (Jury names will be announced in April)
  • Nomination Fee: There is no nomination fee to enable more people and organisations to apply and make overall process neutral and unbiased.

Selection Process

Stage I – Call for Entries
In this stage, any organisations or individual who is eligible can submit their nominations by 15 April 2021.

Stage II – Evaluation of entries
In this stage, the Tech Observer editorial team and our Knowledge Partner will evaluate all the entries for their factual accuracy and ensure that nominations meet our criteria and guidelines. All the eligible entries in this stage will be shared with the jury members for their evaluation.

Stage III – Jury Meet
An eminent jury comprising some of the most experienced leaders from the finance, cyber security and public sector will meet virtually to for their ranking. Ranking in this stage will be final and binding. The winner of each category will be decided after a consensus among the jury members.

Stage IV – The Awards Ceremony
The Digital Senate Awards will be presented in a virtual ceremony to be organised during Digital Senate Summit.
