Enterprise data management company Veeam Software said on Tuesday it had appointed three senior executives to its global leadership team, as it focuses on customer operations, partnerships and corporate development.
Brandt Urban has been promoted to chief business development officer, Tony Colon has joined as chief customer officer and Michael Rau has been appointed vice president of worldwide partners, the company said in a statement.
Urban, who will report to CEO Anand Eswaran, will oversee corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. He previously served as senior vice president of worldwide cloud sales at Veeam and has held senior roles at Microsoft, Genesys, RingCentral and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Colon will lead customer-facing functions including renewals, customer success, professional services and technical support. He will report to chief revenue officer John Jester. Colon previously held customer leadership roles at ServiceNow, Cisco and Salesforce.
Rau will lead Veeam’s global partner business, covering distribution, resellers, software-as-a-service partners and strategic alliances. He will also report to Jester. Rau previously held senior roles at F5 and Cisco.
Veeam said the appointments were aimed at strengthening execution across customer engagement, partner programmes and corporate strategy as demand grows for data protection and resilience solutions used by enterprises deploying cloud and artificial intelligence systems.
