: The result of Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) has been declared.  At 3 pm today, the board declared the Karnataka SSLC results 2017 at kseeb.kar.nic.in. According to reports, 4.69 lakh boys and 4.07 lakh girls girls totaling nearly 8 lakh students appeared for these exams in the month of March.

Earlier, Karnataka primary and secondary education minister Tanveer Sait had assured that Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results would be announced on Friday, May 12, at 3 pm at kseeb.kar.nic.in.

Due to cases of paper leakage reported in the past, this year SSLC board took elaborate measures to prevent leakage of question papers. According to report, adequate arrangement were made to complete these examination in free, fair and transparent manner and also guidelines were issued to ensure timely evaluation of these papers.

Due to heavy traffic, website may be slow, however, government official confirmed that proper measures have been taken by the state government to ensure easy, smooth and timely access to Karnataka SSLC results 2017.

According to report, the SSLC board this year issued separate question papers and answer sheets. And, allowed student to take the question papers home. CCTV surveillance and video recording were used to ensure cheating free examinations. 1,184 exam centres were under CCTV surveillance and 40 cameras were installed at the Board's office.

KSEEB was formed in the year 1966. KSEEB administers the system of secondary education in Karnataka. KSEEB creates courses of study, propose syllabus, conduct examinations, grant recognitions to schools. It also provide direction, support and leadership for all secondary educational organisations under its jurisdiction.

Those students who could not pass exam, they can appear for the supplementary exam in the month of June. According to reports.

Here is how to check Karnataka SSLC results 2017
1. Results will be declared on May 12, 2017 at 3pm.
2. Go to kseeb.kar.nic.in
3. On homepage, click on the notification for the Kerala SSLC results 2017.
4. Fill in your roll number and other details.
5. Once you submit this information, results will be displayed.
6. Take a print for future references.But do digitise your results for future references.
