Bangladesh Youth Skill Fest goes digital amidst pandemic

Dhaka — To commemorate the upcoming World Youth Skills Day, Inspiring is organising Bangladesh Youth Skills Fest 2021. This year, the event will take place virtually on July 15th and 16th.

Expert speakers from around the world will participate in the event's webinar series. They will discuss various aspects of enhancing young people's skills.

Youth Hub, Bangladesh Progressive Women's Society, JCI Dhaka West, Youth in Digital Awareness, Bangladesh Positive Foundation, Big Ventures, Freeprinewear, and News360BD.com are organising the event in collaboration.

Additionally, the ICT Division, LICT Project, Durbar, and North South University are co-sponsoring the event.

The festival will feature seven sessions led by Imran Fahad, Sumaiya Zaman, Pavel Sarwar, Muhammad Altamish Nabil, Swadhin Khan Mohammad Naqib, Jamil Ahmed, and Rabiul Islam Robi, according to the organisers.

Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain, a member of the (UGC), will attend the opening ceremony on July 15 at 6 p.m. alongside Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Ito Naoki, Azim Uddin Ahmed, a founding member of North South University (NSU), North South University Vice Chancellor Prof. Atiqul Islam, Arshadul Hasan, CCO of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, and Abul Kalam Hasan Togar.

All of the fest's sessions will be broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the affiliated organisations, including Inspiring Bangladesh.
