According to the information given by BTRC, there are 17 crores 52 lakh 70 thousand mobile subscribers in the country at present.

They pointed out that, the lack of accessibility of devices in network use is an obstacle to digital access at the marginal level, however, quality networking services are also a big obstacle in this way. At the same time, there is the inadequacy of local services.
The telecommunications regulator Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has said it will give customers three months to report any of the new handsets that will be added to the network from July 1 if they become illegal.
The notice has been sent to the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, the Secretary of the Division of Posts and Telecommunications, the Secretary of the Department of Information and Communication Technology, and the Chairman of BTRC.
