The meeting was chaired by Asif Munir Tanmoy, of IT Cell of Nirmul Committee. General Secretary Recognition Barua, Online Activist Azam Khan, Nirmul Committee District Organizing Secretary Rashedul Islam, Nirmul Committee Rajshahi University Former President Matiur Rahman Mortuza, Kolkata Lawyer Salman Akhter, Jagran’s Hindi Divisional Secretary Social Worker Tapas Das, Nirmul Committee Rajshahi University General Secretary Mamunur Rashid and Rikta Ritu, President of Manikganj Branch Student Front of Nirmul Committee spoke.

Noting that the anti-militant and anti-fundamentalist discussions of the Nirmul Committee were a very timely initiative, the minister said, “We have identified about a hundred IDs from various social media, including Facebook, which are operated from abroad.” We have given the details including their location identification to the concerned ministry for taking action against them. I also sent it to the Facebook authorities. They are engaged in heinous propaganda against various countries. We are constantly trying to take action against them.

Citing the rise of radical forces in a neighboring country as a major challenge, the heroic freedom fighter Mustafa Jabbar said Pakistan had turned Afghanistan into a terrorist state by constantly exporting militants. He said the resurgence of militancy through social media is a challenging issue for the state security of Bangladesh. There is no alternative to tackling this militancy online, politically and politically.

“We are trying to strengthen our position against militant propaganda through social media,” he said. I am always in touch with the Counter-Terrorism Unit. If we cannot all deal with militant conspiracies in the country through state and political social media, then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s attempt to build the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu’s dream will fail.”

“I hope that such a small effort of the Nirmul Committee to prevent these conspiracies will one day become a big effort and will free Bangladesh from militancy.”
