SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Results on Oct 31 confirmed; Here’s all you need to know

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reconfirmed that it will announce SSC CGL 2017 Tier I results on October 31.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has reconfirmed that it will announce  Tier 1 on October 31. The examination was conducted from August 5 to August 23 in 43 batches across the country. According to SSC, a total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared in this examination. Once announced, SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 results will be made available at the official website of the SSC – ssc.nic.in.

The candidates qualify in the preliminary, popularly known as SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be allowed to appear in Tier II examination. Tier II exam is scheduled to be held on November 10 and 11. SSC has already released the answer keys for SSC CGL 2017 Tier I exam. A final selection list will be prepared based on SSC criteria and SSC CGL 2017 Tier-II results.

Through Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017, SSC will recruit non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non-gazetted posts in various government departments and ministries of central government. This exam is conducted every year. All the candidate who have appeared in Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) can check SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2017 on October 31 at the official website of SSC – . The Commission will put a notification on the website at the time of announcing the results.

As going by the past record of SSC, it has been able to announced results on time and in some cases, it announce results before the scheduled dates too. For example, Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2016 (Tier-II) results was scheduled to be announced on October 18 but SSC declared it on October 13 itself.
