SSC Notifications: Check latest updates on SSC MTS 2016, SSC CGL 2017, SSC CHSL 2017 and SSC JE 2017

In recent past, the Staff Selection has been news for all the wrong reasons but that has brought some level of discipline in the Commission’s functioning. Now, it has become more prompt on sharing information about examinations it conducts for various government organisations. On Tuesday, SSC Chairman Ashim Khurana shared the details about different examination and the status of result announcements. Following are the latest updates on SSC MTS 2016, , SSC 2017 and SSC JE 2017 from Staff Selection Commission.

SSC MTS 2016

SSC has declared the final result of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2016 on April 28, 2018. A total of 10,674 candidates were declared successful but the result of 161 candidates have been withheld on the suspicion of malpractices.

Paper-I of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2016 was conducted from September 9, 2017, to October 31, 2017, in the Computer Based Mode. A total of 19,96,411 candidates appeared in this examination. Paper-II of the SSC MTS 2016 examination was conducted on January 28, 2018.

SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II)

According to SSC, the result for the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination 2017 is tentatively proposed to be declared on June 8, 2016. The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-III) Examination 2017 would be scheduled after the declaration of the 2017 Results (Tier-II) tentatively in the last week of June 2018.

SSC CHSLE 2017 (Tier-I)

The result of Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2017 (Tier-I) is tentatively proposed to be declared on June 15, 2018.  The examination for SSC CHSLE 2017 (Tier-I) was held from March 4 to March 26, 2018. The SSC CHSLE 2017 Tier-II exam is expected to take place on July 8, 2018.

SSC JE 2017 (Paper-II)

The Paper-II of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination-2017 was conducted on April 29, 2018, with an attendance of 87.02%. The result of the SSC JE 2017 (Paper-II) examination is tentatively proposed to be declared on June 22, 2018.

Centre tightens AI rules, mandates 3-hour takedown for deepfakes
