Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2017: TNBSE SSLC Class 10 results 2017 to be declared at tnresults.nic.in

Tamil Nadu School Education Department will declare TNBSE SSLC Class 10 Results 2017 at 10 am today. “SSLC March 2017 Examination Results expected on 19th May 2017 at 10:00 Hrs” said a notification on the government website. Once announced, the results will be available at tnresults.nic.in.

The examinations for TNBSE SSLC Class 10 were conducted in the month of March and according to reports, the paper evaluation began on April 6 and was completed last week of April. Like other education boards, TN Board offers courses for secondary and senior secondary in subjects like arts, commerce, computer science, biology and vocational courses.

Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations were merged in 2011 to create a single Board for School Examination in Tamil Nadu. TNBSE conduct examinations for Class 10th and Class 12th in the state.

Earlier on May 12, board has declared TNBSE HSC Class 12 results in which nearly 8,98,763 students had appeared. The board saw the marginal improvement in Class 12 performance. The overall pass percentage marginally increased to 92.1%, as compared to 91.4% last year.

The Directorate of Government Examinations which is the parent body of TNBSE is responsible for conducting these exams. It has has 7 regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore. Apart from the academic stream examination in academic fields, this department is conducting various vocational stream examinations also. At present this department in conducting exams for about 25 lakh students every year.

1. Go to  tnresults.nic.in
2. Click on SSLC March 2017 Results
3. Enter your Registration number, Date of Birth and click on ‘Get Marks’ option.
4. TNBSE SSLC Class 10 Results 2017 will be displayed
5. Take a print or digitise your results for easy and quick references.
