The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) which is a nodal agency to conduct Class 10 and Class 12 examination in Maharashtra is likely to declare Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Results 2017 tomorrow, said reports. Once announced, the results will be available at the official website of the board – mahresults. and it can also be downloaded from other websites like indiaresults.com.

Nearly 15 lakh students have appeared for these examinations which were conducted in the month of March 2017. Last year, Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Results 2017 were declared on May 25 while the SSC or Class 10 results were released in June. The board has not officially confirmed any dates.

A total of 8,48,929 boys and 6,56,436 are girls totalling 15,05,365 students have appeared for these examinations. A large number of students – 5,59,423 have appeared for stream, while Arts  and streams had 5,09,124 and 3,73,870 students respectively. 62,148 students has opted for Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC).

To ensure smooth conduct of examinations, the board which is headquartered in Pune had set up 2710 examination centres across the nine divisions – Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amaravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education is an autonomous body established by the government of Maharashtra. The board conducts HSC and SSC Examinations in the state through its nine divisional boards.

The Board conducts examination twice a year and the number of students appearing for the main examination is around 14 Lacs for HSC and 17 Lac’s SSC, for the supplementary examination around 6 Lacs students are expected HSC and SSC together. There are about 21000 schools (SSC) and 7000 (HSC) Higher Sec. Schools / Jr. Colleges in the entire state.

  • After submitting the form, Maharashtra HSC Class 12 Results 2017 will be displayed.
