Bihar BPSC results declared for 60th to 62nd Common Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam; Check at bpsc.bih.nic.in

To recruit 642 officers for various post in Government of Bihar, this examination was held on February 12, 2017 at 390 centres in 35 district headquarters of the state.

BPSC Results: Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the results of 60th to 62nd Common Combined competitive preliminary on September 13. To recruit 642 officers for various post in of Bihar, this examination was held on February 12, 2017 at 390 centres in 35 district headquarters of the state.

According to BPSC, Out of 1,60,086 candidates who have appeared, only 8282 have passed it. Now, all the candidates who have cleared the Preliminary examination, would move to next stage which is Main examination. The date for the main examination will be announced soon.

Out of total successful candidates, 3802 candidates belongs to General category, rest 4480 are from reserved category including female and physically disable. While the cut-off marks for the general category was 97, for others it was between 73 to 86. The candidates marksheet will be uploaded soon on the BPSC website.

The candidates who have passed the Preliminary examination will have to apply for the Main examination. The marks obtained in Main Examination and in Interview conducted by BPSC will be the main criteria for the selection. Selected candidates will get monthly payment of Rs. 9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs. 5400/-, 4800/- , 4200/.

How to check BPSC Results for 60th to 62nd Common Combined competitive preliminary examination

  • Go to official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih..in
  • On the homepage, click on the link for ‘ Result: 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination’
  • A Pdf page containing roll number of successful candidates will appear on the screen
  • Check your roll number
  • Save the result page on your computer

BPSC will upload the marksheet soon. Candidate should download the marksheet and once online link for Main examination is activated, they need to apply with preliminary result details.
