SAP appoints Subbu Ananthapadmanabhan as Head of Midmarket for Asia Pacific Japan

Subramanian Ananthapadmanabhan succeeds SVP Claus Andresen, who has been promoted to manage Cloud Success Services, APJ.

German enterprise software firm has appointed Subramanian (Subbu) Ananthapadmanabhan to the position of Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Midmarket for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). He succeeds SVP Claus Andresen, who has been promoted to manage Cloud Success Services, APJ.

Subbu will manage a regional team aiding small and medium-sized businesses in transforming their businesses via the use of intelligent enterprise solutions. He will be responsible for leading the company’s go-to-market strategy, with a particular emphasis on cloud hypergrowth, discovering and developing new market segments, and increasing customer lifetime value.

Subbu formerly served as Head of Midmarket for SAP India, where he established a customer-centric, partner-first business. Before joining SAP in 2012, he held positions at and IBM.
