During the National Technology Day celebrations, Sooraj Balakrishnan, Associate Director and Head of Marketing at Acer, said the company is accelerating nurturing creativity and connectivity among the youth.

“In today’s dynamic world, Acer recognises that innovation acts as the driving force propelling possibilities forward,” said Balakrishnan. He highlighted the role of technology in society, noting, “From advancements in AI to the realm of cloud computing, technology guides our journey toward greater connectivity and creativity.”

National Technology Day, observed on May 11th, marks the anniversary of the Pokhran nuclear tests. It is a day that celebrates India’s technological advancements. This year, Acer introduced its annual theme: ‘ to Startups – Igniting Young Minds to Innovate.’ The initiative supports the company’s strategy to connect academic learning with entrepreneurial ambition, creating an environment that encourages young people to innovate.
