The Maharashtra asked administrations across all boards and mediums on Thursday to waive off 15% of fees for the academic year 2021-22. According to a Government Resolution (GR) issued by the school education , schools should reimburse fees that have been paid in full or use the extra funds for the academic year 2021-22.

In the event of a disagreement, the order said that a petition should be made with the divisional fee regulatory authority, whose decision will be binding on all.

Additionally, the government has encouraged school administrators not to block students from enrolling in online or traditional education, or from sitting for examinations and withholding if they have not paid their tuition.
