Bangladeshi mobile operator Robi’s profit declines

: Mobile operator Robi Axiata Limited‘s profit fell in the second quarter of this year. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) for April-June has been 9 paisa. EPS was 12 paise at the same time last year. In other words, the earnings per share have decreased by 3 paisa as compared to last year.

The board of directors on Tuesday (July 27) reviewed the company’s unaudited financial for the second quarter (April-June) and approved it. This information has been known from the company sources.

According to the company, the multinational company earned 9 paise per share in the second quarter of this year. In the two quarters of this year, from January to June, the company’s EPS has been 15 paise.

The company’s EPS for the previous year, from January to June 2020, was 16 paisa.

In other words, EPS has decreased by one paise in the first six months of this year as compared to the previous year. Of the 16 paisa EPS, Robi’s EPS was 4 paisa in the first quarter and 12 paise in the second quarter.

And in two quarters, the company’s cash flow per share has been 3 taka 1 paisa. On June 30, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) was 12 taka 45 paisa.
