MUMBAI – The Adani Group said on Tuesday it has entered into a three-year partnership with US-based Autodesk to deploy Autodesk Construction Cloud and Building Information Modelling (BIM) advisory services across its operations in India and abroad.
Autodesk Construction Cloud is a suite of software tools used to manage design, data and workflows across construction projects, while Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a digital process that creates shared 3D models to help engineers, architects and project teams plan, coordinate and track progress more efficiently.
The agreement forms part of Adani’s efforts to build a unified digital system for design, construction and project management. The move is expected to improve coordination and data integration across the group’s infrastructure projects, which span energy, logistics, and transport.
Under the partnership, Adani will use Autodesk’s Construction Cloud platform to connect project data across teams and locations. The software will create a single digital repository of information that can be accessed by different business units to streamline design and execution.
The agreement also includes process standardisation, BIM capability development, leadership workshops and training for employees and partner organisations within the Adani Group. The partnership aims to support greater transparency and efficiency in the management of infrastructure assets.

“Seamless collaboration and connected data are critical to executing complex infrastructure projects at scale. By partnering with Autodesk, we are using technology to unify teams, enhance project visibility and improve decision-making,” said K.S. Rao, Chief Executive Officer, Adani Infra India Ltd.
The collaboration is part of Adani’s internal programme, known as “Parivataan,” which focuses on digitalising the entire project lifecycle. Through the initiative, the group aims to improve monitoring, coordination, and operational oversight across its infrastructure portfolio.
Autodesk, listed on the Nasdaq, provides design and construction software used in architecture, engineering and manufacturing industries. The partnership with Adani is expected to expand its footprint in India’s infrastructure sector, which has seen a growing adoption of digital project management systems.
The Adani Group operates across sectors including ports, airports, energy and data centres. It has been investing in automation and digital systems to improve project execution and management efficiency.
