UPSC NDA 2 Result 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to announce the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy Examination (NAE) II 2025 results soon, with candidates expected to access their scores on the official website upsc.gov.in.
This year’s examination was conducted on 14 September 2025 to fill a total of 402 vacancies across the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Aspirants whose names appear in the merit list will move on to the next stages of the recruitment process, including the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview and medical fitness assessment, before joining the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla, Pune for officer training.
The NDA 2 2025 examination comprised two papers, Mathematics and General Ability, testing candidates on numerical, reasoning and general knowledge skills. The UPSC typically releases results approximately two weeks after the exam, suggesting that candidates can expect the announcement in the first week of October 2025.
Question papers for both Mathematics and General Ability have been made available on the UPSC website, allowing aspirants to review their performance ahead of the result.
Following the written examination, shortlisted candidates will appear for the SSB interview, a multi-stage assessment designed to evaluate leadership qualities, psychological aptitude and decision-making skills.
Successful candidates will also undergo medical fitness tests to ensure they meet the physical standards required for training at the NDA and Naval Academy.
The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in both the written examination and the SSB process, after which candidates will be allocated to the Army, Navy or Air Force according to their rank and preference.
Candidates can check their results by visiting the official UPSC website and selecting the “NDA 2 Result” link under the “What’s New” section. The PDF list will display roll numbers of qualified candidates.
Those who find their roll number listed will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process, which includes SSB interviews and medical evaluation.
The NDA and Naval Academy examinations are among the most competitive defence entrance exams in India, attracting thousands of candidates annually.
With careers in the Indian Armed Forces at stake, these exams remain a crucial step for students aiming to join the Army, Navy or Air Force as commissioned officers.
The UPSC NDA II 2025 results are therefore highly anticipated by candidates and coaching institutes across the country.
