JioPhone booking starts: Only pay Rs 500 to pre-book Reliance Jio 4G mobile

The wait for all the people wants to buy Jio smart feature has got over. The company has started the pre-booking for much awaited JioPhone at 5.30 PM today. According to reports, people can register themselves either on the online website of the Jio or at MyJio App. As reported earlier, the overall cost of the phone is Rs 1500 but customers will have to pay only Rs 500 to confirm booking.

According to multiple reports, Reliance Jio is looking at registration for more than a hundred million JioPhone, which an analyst say, company should surpass it quite easily. It should be noted that users will have to pay Rs 500 initially. This is basically a booking amount that Reliance wants you to pay in order to confirm your booking. Since the JioPhone is priced at Rs 1500, the rest of the amount can be paid later. The company will take the remaining balance of Rs 1000 at the time of delivery. The 4G feature mobile will start selling around the first week of next month.

According to reports JioPhone is different than other features phones because has plenty of features which are unavailable in the usual devices. Also, the cost of the Jio mobile is very less. In fact, according to the company, the JioPhone is priced effectively at Rs 0. This is because users will get back the money by the end of three years, making the Rs 1500 only a security deposit. Mukesh Ambani had said that the move was just to avoid ‘potential misuse’.

In order to pre-book the Reliance Jio 4G mobile, you can go to the company’s website (www.jio.com), or on the MyJio app. If you want to book it offline, you can do so at the Reliance stores, multi brand stores as well as, at the Reliance Digital store. Remember, Reliance will charge you Rs 500 initially to pre-book the device. However, the amount will be adjusted from the price of the JioPhone, that is Rs 1500.

When it comes to data, a recharge of Rs 153 will give you 500MB of data per day, for a month. However, if you want to use more data on your device, you can do so by recharging with an amount of Rs 309 or above. These amounts belong to the regular tariff plan for Jio. Additionally, there are weekly and daily recharge options. A recharge of Rs 54 will get you 1 week of the same plan, and Rs 24 will get you 2 days of the same.
