Used two-wheeler platform Vutto has raised $7 million in Series A funding, led by RTP Global with participation from existing investor Blume Ventures. The company said the fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen supply channels, expand refurbishment operations and improve customer experience as it looks to scale across India.
Founded in 2024, Vutto operates a hybrid online-offline model for buying and selling refurbished two-wheelers. Customers can browse inventory online, test vehicles at showrooms and complete purchases that include warranty cover, servicing and paperwork such as registration transfer and insurance.
The company currently runs three showrooms in Delhi and employs a team of more than 50. In just over a year of operations, Vutto said it has sold around 1,500 vehicles. Its model focuses on sourcing two-wheelers directly from consumers and institutions, refurbishing them to a defined standard, and reselling them with documentation support.
India is the world’s largest two-wheeler market, with close to 55 percent of households owning a vehicle, according to industry estimates. Annual sales include 15–20 million new units and nearly 10 million used two-wheelers. The pre-owned segment remains fragmented, with buyers and sellers often navigating a lack of transparency and limited standardisation.
Vutto said vehicles listed on its platform typically sell within 12 days, supported by its in-house refurbishment processes and financing options. The company also works with banks and financial institutions to create resale channels for repossessed vehicles.
Commenting on the funding, Rohit Khurana, Co-founder of Vutto, said the company was focused on “gradual steps to solve the problems that can help unlock this massively underserved category”.
Co-founder Sitaram Ankilla added that the business model relies on a “low-cost operating model so that unit economics work”, highlighting profitability at its first store within a year of launch.
RTP Global partner Nishit Garg said Vutto’s “refurbishment-led approach” aimed to build trust in a category that has lacked formal infrastructure. Sajith Pai, partner at Blume Ventures, said the firm had backed Vutto since its seed stage and viewed the used two-wheeler market as “a huge, untapped opportunity”.
Prior to the Series A round, Vutto had raised $1 million in seed funding led by Blume Ventures, alongside participation from Swiggy, OfBusiness, Tracxn, BatterySmart, SuprDaily, Panthera Peak Capital and other angel investors.
