IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Prelims 2017 (All Slots) Sept 10 paper analysis

The second day, September 10th examination of IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Prelims 2017 has been completed. According to experts, the paper was of easy-moderate level.

The second day, September 10th examination of IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Prelims 2017 has been completed. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) began this examination on September 9 and one more round is scheduled for September 16. Like September 9 exam, the September 10th exam was conducted in four shifts and experts say that was an easy-moderate exam. Questions were asked from Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Both the sections had 40 questions in each section and they have to be solved within 45 minutes. If a candidate has been able to solved 52-62 questions out of total 80, they have a good chance of qualifying.

In reasoning section, five question each were asked from Syllogisms, Inequalities, Coding Decoding, Ordering & Ranking, Series, Linear Seating Arrangement, Circular Seating Arrangement, Scheduling Puzzle. According to experts, most of them were of easy level.

In Quantitative Aptitude sections, five question each were asked from Approximation, Number Series, Quadratic Equations, Data Interpretation Tabular Graph, Data Interpretation Line Graph, Pie Chart DI. They were easy-moderate level. About 10 questions were asked around Average, Percentage, Ages, Profit & Loss, Trains, Boats & Streams. They were also of easy-moderate level.

Comparing the September 10th examination with September 9 exam, some experts say that shift two exam of September 10th was a little difficult than first shift or September 9 exam. They had slightly different sets of questions on reasoning and quantitative aptitude but were easy-moderate level. For example under Syllogisms, possibility based questions were not asked. In all four shift, more or less the difficulty level was easy-moderate.
