Zopper said its care plan includes a “unique pricing feature” intended to distinguish from existing device protection offerings. Claims may be registered through Zopper’s customer care number. The company said Z-shield reinforces its strategy of delivering customer-centric protection for premium smartphones.

The iPhone 17 series, announced by Apple in September 2025, includes several upgrades which may increase repair or replacement costs.

The standard model features a 6.3-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion refresh rates, a 48MP “Fusion Main” , 48MP Ultra Wide , and a new A19 chip. Storage now begins at 256GB, eliminating the prior 128GB base option.

These enhancements which includes higher resolution cameras, larger display, more powerful internals mean that device protection plans like Z-shield may become more attractive for customers concerned about repair costs or accidental damage.
