South Korean firm LG is likely to launch LG G6 in India very soon. A sign-up page on LG’s official India website has gone live, which allows one to “register their interest” for LG’s latest flagship smartphone.

will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, IP68 water and dust resistant capabilities, and support for Dolby Vision high dynamic range video technology.

The LG G6 features a metal unibody design and comes with Gorilla Glass 3 at the front, and a Gorilla Glass 5 at the back. On the left side, it comes with volume buttons, whereas on the right side it has a SIM card slot. At the bottom there is the speaker grille and USB Type-C port.

The LG G6 flaunts a 5.7-inch QHD+ display at a resolution of 2880x1440pixels. The USP is the near bezel-less design, 18:9 aspect ratio, and an ‘Always On' display. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 821 SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage options. A microSD card slot for further expansion is also present.

On the camera front, the flagship smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup that includes two 13-megapixel sensors – one is a wide-angle lens with aperture f/2.4, whereas the other is a standard lens with aperture f/1.8 and optical image stabilization (OIS). The rear camera also supports 4K video. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with aperture f/2.2 for video calling and selfie.

LG G6 comes with a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology for fast charging keeps the smartphone ticking. The smartphone also comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE support, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C. LG has also retained the 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

LG has not announced any date yet for the launch but according to media reports, it is likely to happen in either in the last week of April or first week of May. The smartphone may be priced around ₹49,999.
