Global technology giant, has announced to launch of its much-awaited Chromecast with Google TV in . The move looks to expand the Chromecast with Google TV availability to more countries including India and three more countries in addition to eight other countries in Europe.

The company early this week officially confirmed the launch of the Chromecast with Google TV in India. The device's only rival will be 's Google TV streaming stick in India.

The device will launch in three other countries including New Zealand, Taiwan, and South Korea. The company has also confirmed to Flat PanelsHD that it will provide official sales of the streaming device.

Google will be launching the streaming device in European countries – Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Austria — on June 21. Launch dates for India, New Zealand, and South Korea haven't been announced yet by the company. It is also important to note that the Chromecast with Google TV hasn't been listed on the official Google store in these countries as of now.

STMicro quarterly profit declines by 18.4% owing to slow demand
