Ai+ Smartphone has launched the Pulse 2 in India at an introductory price of ₹5,999, targeting budget-conscious buyers seeking longer battery life and improved cameras without spending more.

The handset, which goes on sale exclusively on from 11 March at 12pm, enters a crowded sub-₹10,000 segment where battery capacity and camera quality have become key differentiators for first-time smartphone buyers and those replacing ageing devices.

The company entered the Indian market in July 2025 with its Pulse and Nova 5G models. It is positioning the Pulse 2 as an incremental upgrade over its predecessor while keeping prices accessible.

Ai+ Pulse 2 price and variants in India

The Pulse 2 will be available in two configurations. The base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage carries the ₹5,999 introductory price, while the higher-specification model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at ₹7,999.

These promotional prices will apply only during the first 24 hours of sale, the company said. Regular pricing has not been disclosed. The phone will be offered in five colours: green, blue, pink, purple and black.

Battery, display and camera specifications

The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. For context, a battery of this capacity typically lasts two full days of moderate use, addressing a common concern among users in areas with unreliable power supply or those cannot charge frequently during work hours.

The display measures 6.745 inches with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, which means the screen updates 120 times per second for smoother scrolling and animations. This is an upgrade from the 90Hz panel on the original Pulse. Peak brightness reaches 450 nits in standard mode, with a high brightness option for outdoor visibility.

On the camera front, the Pulse 2 features a 50MP dual rear camera setup paired with an 8MP front camera. The selfie camera has been upgraded from the 5MP unit found on the Pulse 1.

Processor and software details

The phone runs on a Unisoc T7250 processor, an octa-core chip clocked at 1.8GHz and built using a 12-nanometre manufacturing process. It uses LPDDR4x memory, a power-efficient RAM standard common in budget devices, and eMMC storage, which is slower than the UFS storage found in pricier phones but adequate for basic tasks.

Ai+ has shipped the Pulse 2 with Android 16 running its interface. The previous model launched with Android 15 on the same software layer.

The company said it has improved durability with an IP64 rating, meaning the device is protected against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. The earlier model carried an IP54 certification, which offered less comprehensive dust protection.

Madhav Sheth, chief executive of Ai+ Smartphone, said the Pulse 2 focuses on camera, battery and software improvements for users who want meaningful upgrades without higher spending.

The Flipkart sale begins on 11 March at noon, with the introductory pricing valid until the same time on 12 March. The company has not confirmed when regular pricing will take effect or whether offline availability is planned.
