Facebook, Instagram faced outage, now, back to normal

Social media giant Facebook and its App Instagram faced outage on Saturday. The website was unavailable for some time in the evening, however like in the past Facebook services were restored immediately.

Social media giant and its Instagram faced outage on Saturday. The website was unavailable for some time in the evening. However, like in the past, services were restored immediately. On twitter, many users wrote that they experienced an outage as they struggled to access the popular site.

Especially users from US and Europe complained that they faced log-in problems, while others had a difficulty in uploading videos, liking or commenting on posts, loading pages, or saw error messages reported news agency PTI. There is no clarity as to why such an outage has happened. So far, Facebook has not officially said anything on this outage. Some of the users also reported the issue with allied services of Facebook like Instagram.

Users who tried to access the Facebook and got a message that the website was undergoing maintenance. Down Detector reported a large spike in users being unable to access Facebook after 7:30 PM IST. Users were unable to comment or even use Facebook messenger. Some of the user got the message which says, “Facebook Will Be Back Soon. Thanks for your patience as we improve the site.”
