Bolstered by uptake in its Azure and Office 365 business, Microsoft India reported more than $1 billion in revenue last financial year, said a ET report.
Citing a market analysis firm Tofler, the business daily reported that Microsoft India profit jumped 8% to to Rs. 386 crore and its total expenses for the fiscal were Rs. 6,699 crore. Overall, tech firm witnessed a 13% growth in revenue in 2018-19 to Rs. 7301 crore.
Microsoft revenue in India for the past two years stood at Rs 6456 crore and Rs 6392 crore, respectively in FY18 and FY17. Analysts say that Microsoft is growing in double-digit in India lead by enhanced engagement with new age companies.
