Trivandrum Technopark-based company Acsia Technologies in a global expansion bid announced an international tie-up with Finland-based company Basemark for its new partner program ‘Rocksolid Ecosystem‘.
According to Acsia Technologies, Basemark is a leading provider of real-time software solutions and professional services for the automotive industry. The global tech company has designed a new program to create and nurture a strong network of players related to the software-defined car technology.
Acsia Technologies in its new partnership has joined as one of the founding members of the programs and will work with 10 other leading international companies from the automotive industry.
Acsia Technologies, launched in 2014, has been associated with Basemark in developing technologies for the automotive industry for the past few years.
“Autonomous cars are the future of the automotive industry. Through the program, they are aiming to develop software for these cars, and the companies partnered in the program have expertise in specific areas related to the industry. We will be specializing in the connected car segment and are excited to be part of the prestigious Rocksolid Ecosystem founding partner program. I am happy to see we share a common vision of software-defined vehicles with Basemark,” Jijimon Chandran, CEO, Acsia Technologies said.
According to Jijimon, Acsia Technologies can be the perfect partner to Basemark as they have strong expertise for software development of connected, autonomous, shared, and electrified automotive technologies. “The programme brings a great opportunity for our engineers to work with a world-class, advanced automotive technology. As the ‘Software-defined car’ are going to be the de facto standard of the future, it will result in generating more projects and employment opportunities,” Chandran said.
Tero Sarkkinen, founder and CEO, Basemark meanwhile expressed happiness over the new partnership and said that his company was proud and excited to launch Rocksolid Ecosystem. “Basemark is committed to becoming a key player in the software-defined car market, and the support we’re seeing from the industry is telling us we’re going in the right direction.
