Robotic process automation (RPA) software company Automation Anywhere has entered into a strategic partnership with PwC India to develop generative AI-based automation solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and cost savings across several industries, said a statement.
According to the US-based firm, the alliance will leverage its AI-powered automation technology alongside PwC India‘s consulting and industry insights, targeting sectors such as financial services, retail, manufacturing, telecoms, media, and healthcare.
The partnership seeks to capitalise on the growing demand for automation solutions by Indian businesses, which are increasingly looking to cut costs, enhance productivity, and improve customer experiences.
“PwC India prides itself on delivering transformative business solutions through its alliance ecosystem,” said Vivek Belgavi, Partner & Leader of Alliances & Ecosystems, PwC India, adding that the collaboration would enable “enterprise-wide process transformation.”
Both companies are positioning this collaboration as a response to the rising need among Indian enterprises for consistent, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.
Ankur Kothari, Chief Operating Officer of Automation Anywhere, said: “Our collaboration with PwC India exemplifies our commitment to harnessing the power of disruptive technology like AI to transform businesses.”
This partnership between Automation Anywhere and PwC India aligns with a broader trend among consulting firms and technology providers seeking to leverage each other’s expertise to explore new avenues for growth beyond their core consulting business.
In recent months, similar alliances have emerged, highlighting the growing industry focus on automation and AI. In April 2024, PwC expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to integrate generative AI into business operations, aiming to develop industry-specific solutions that accelerate digital transformation.
McKinsey & Company has also joined forces with AI platform developer Cohere, with the goal of embedding generative AI into client processes for enhanced performance and efficiency.
Similarly, Bain & Company partnered with Ashling Partners, an automation consulting firm, to provide advanced automation strategies for businesses adapting to the surge in AI-driven tools.
Additionally, in September 2024, The Hackett Group, a NASDAQ-listed consulting firm, acquired the Indian generative AI firm LeewayHertz to integrate advanced AI capabilities into its broader service offerings.
