Dr. Jaijit Bhattacharya of C-DEP on Reimagining Digital Foundation for Atmanirbhar Defence Sector – National DefTech Summit 2022

In his inaugural note at the National DefTech Summit 2022 organised by Tech Observer Magazine, Dr. Jaijit Bhattachary, President, Centre for Digital Economy Policy Research stated that it was crucial for India to build industrial capacity to attain the state-of-the-art in the defence sector to achieve the goal of Atmanirbharta in defence space.

In his inaugural note at the National 2022 organised by Tech Observer Magazine, Dr. Jaijit Bhattachary, President, Centre for Digital Economy Policy stated that it was crucial for India to build industrial capacity to attain the state-of-the-art in the sector to achieve the goal of Atmanirbharta in defence space.

“It is crucial that we have the policies and industrial capacity to attain the state of the art and construct the next generation of technologies that India and the Indian terrain require,” says Dr. Bhattacharya.

To focus and create awareness about building a digital foundation to create, run, manage, connect, and intrinsically secure and protect any application on any device and to also find out how next-generation technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, are modernising and innovating various aspects of India’s defence strategy, was organised on November 25 at The Oberoi in New Delhi by Tech Observer Magazine.
