Data protection and ransomware recovery firm Veeam Software hosted its ProPartner Summit 2024 in Lucknow, from February 22nd to 24th. The event gathered 54 channel partners and 45 organisations for discussions on strategic planning and collaborative initiatives, said a statement.

Amarish Karnik and Sandeep Bhambure, senior leaders at Veeam India and , opened the summit, emphasising the importance of partners in the company’s success and outlining the strategy for 2024.

The summit aimed to strengthen the collaboration between Veeam and its partners, focusing on addressing needs and ensuring continuity through robust ransomware recovery solutions. “Our business thrives on collaboration with partners, operating as a 100% channel-driven enterprise in India,” said Amarish Karnik, Director, Channel and Alliances, Veeam, highlighting the company’s commitment to its partners.

Sandeep Bhambure, VP & Managing Director, Veeam addressed the critical need for data protection, stating, “Cyberattacks are the leading cause of business outages, with ransomware being the most common threat.” He outlined Veeam’s goal to provide solutions for swift recovery and resilience against these threats.

The event also celebrated Veeam and its partners’ successes in 2023, featuring an award ceremony to honour outstanding contributions. Arrow PC Network Pvt. Ltd, CitiusCloud Services LLP, Dhanyaayai Enterprise Pvt Ltd, UBX Cloud Private Ltd, and RIA Infosolutions Pvt.Ltd received awards for their exceptional performance.

Amol Diwanji, Head of Presales, India and SAARC, Veeam, and Dave Russell, Vice President, Enterprise Strategy, Veeam presented Veeam’s Technology Strategy for 2024, focusing on technological advancements and innovations expected to drive growth. The summit included a panel discussion, offering insights into strategic workloads and the future of data protection.
