The much-anticipated agenda for Bitcoin 2025, one of the world’s largest Bitcoin-focused event, has been unveiled in the lead-up to the conference, which will take place from 27 to 29 May in Las Vegas.
Building on last year’s success in Nashville, where attendance topped 20,000, organisers are preparing for more than 30,000 participants this year. The event is set to feature high-level discussions on Bitcoin’s evolving role in finance, regulation, mining and global adoption.
This year’s speaker lineup is expected to span political figures, tech entrepreneurs and leading voices from the Bitcoin ecosystem. Among those confirmed are Ross Ulbricht, who is billed as a freedom advocate; Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, both listed as entrepreneurs; David Sacks, currently serving as the White House’s A.I. and crypto czar; Senator Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming; MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor; Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev; Strike CEO Jack Mallers and Gemini founders Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss.
The three-day gathering will take place across multiple stages, with panels, keynotes and debates diving into Bitcoin’s policy implications, technical frontiers and geopolitical influence.
In the policy and adoption track, White House adviser Bo Hines is set to present a talk entitled Making America the Global Bitcoin Superpower. Sessions will also explore legal and regulatory challenges, including continuing analysis of the Trump administration’s Bitcoin policies, and Bitcoin’s growing use cases in regions such as Latin America, India and Hong Kong.
A notable highlight in this regional focus is a dedicated session titled India’s Bitcoin Moment, scheduled for 12:00 to 12:30 PM on Tuesday 27 May at the Genesis Stage. The 30-minute discussion will be moderated by Sagun Garg, Global Innovation Director for Engineering at Bank Julius Baer.
Speakers include Abhay Agarwal, CEO of GetBit; Siddarth Bharwani, Director and CFO at Jetking; and Smeet Bhatt, Co-Founder and CEO of Theya Inc. The session is expected to address India’s burgeoning Bitcoin landscape and its potential as a key player in the global digital currency ecosystem.
On the mining and infrastructure front, panellists will discuss rural economic development through mining, taxation hurdles and the integration of AI for operational efficiency. The event will also feature debates on the future of institutional mining and the rise of hashrate derivatives.
Technological innovation is another focal point, with sessions covering layer 2 solutions, privacy upgrades and advancements in quantum resistance. Notably, both Michael Saylor and Jack Mallers will deliver keynotes offering their visions of Bitcoin’s long-term financial impact.
The conference will also explore Bitcoin’s philosophical and political dimensions. Sessions include Bitcoin as a Digital 1776, which will examine the cryptocurrency’s role in asserting monetary sovereignty, and How Bitcoin Ends the State’s Monopoly on Violence, a debate centred on decentralisation and state power.
Further speaker announcements and agenda updates are expected in the coming weeks. The event is produced by BTC Inc., the parent company of Bitcoin Magazine.
