SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Results declared; check in 5 easy steps

SSC CGL 2017 Tier I results has been declared at the official website of Staff Selection Commission – ssc.nic.in.

Tier I : SSC CGL 2017 Tier I results has been declared at the official website of Staff Selection Commission – . The result is available in a pdf. form. A copy of the result is now available to all the candidates which can be checked online at SSC website. SSC CGL 2017 Tier I examinations were held from August 5 to August 23 across the country.

To check the results, the candidate should go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. Click on the ‘Result’ link in top menu bar. Thereafter, they need to click on ‘Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2017′. A pdf. page containing list of candidates who have qualified in SSC CGL Tier I examination will open. Candidate will have to search his/her name or roll number in the list. If they have qualified, their names and roll number would appear in the list.

A total of 15,43,962 candidates appeared in SSC CGL 2017 examination. The candidates who qualify in the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be allowed to appear in Tier II examination. SSC CGL Tier II exam is scheduled to be held on November 10 and 11. A final selection list will be prepared based on SSC criteria and SSC CGL 2017 Tier-II results. SSC has already released the answer keys for SSC CGL 2017 Tier I exam.

Through Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017, SSC will recruit non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non-gazette posts in various government departments and ministries of central government. The exam is conducted every year. All the candidate who have appeared in Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) can check SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2017 on October 31 at the official website of SSC – ssc.nic.in. The Commission will put a notification on the website at the time of announcing the results.

How to check SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Results

The commission has released category-wise cut-off marks in three lists. On the of CGL (Tier-I) exam 2017, the number of candidates provisionally qualified for Tier-II and Tier-III are:
Tier-II (Paper-I and II) and Tier-III : 1,50,404 (total candidates)
Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III) and Tier-III : 10,311 (only for post of JSO)
Tier-II (Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-IV) and Tier-III : 15,450 (only for posts of AAO)
