In an online notification central government recruitment body said that the Commission immediately swung into action and established contact with the Police to ascertain the facts of the case. “Prima-facie evidence clearly indicates that the entire episode was created by some unruly elements, with a malafide intention, to try to disrupt the examination,” said SSC.

Taking action on the unruly behaviour, SSC said that the examination of Shift-II of that venue had been cancelled and it would not conduct any re-examination for that batch. The Commission said that based on video footage of the incident, stringent action will be taken against those candidates who were actively involved in disrupting the examination.

SSC is conducting Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2017 from February 17 to February 22, 2018 for 1,89,843 candidates across the country. SSC has confirmed that rest of the examinations would be conducted as per schedule on the remaining five days.
