Kerala NEET 2017: CEE Kerala spot admissions held for MBBS, BDS, two more rounds today

The Commissionarate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) of Kerala held the spot admissions for MBBS and BDS courses under NEET 2017 scheme today, two more round is schedule for tomorrow

Kerala NEET 2017: The Commissionarate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) of Kerala held the spot admissions for MBBS and courses under NEET 2017 scheme. As per instruction from CEE, all the students who have applied for spot admission reported at the Old Auditorium, Government Medical College campus in Thiruvananthapuram.

As directed by the CEE, students were carrying the Spot Admission Slip along with other original documents to prove educational qualifications like Transfer Certificate, documents to prove minority community status and the required documents to prove NRI claims for spot admission on the venue.

In total, four round of reporting is to be held by tomorrow. Today, the first round started at 9 am for who the students who have secured a state medical rank from 1 to 4,000. The second round took place at 2 pm for ranks 4,001 to 8,000. The final two rounds will take place on tomorrow at 9 am and from 2 pm for candidates with ranks ranging from 8,001 to 25,600 and above.

The counselling for for candidates from outside Kerala who were seeking admission to seats reserved for them had to report before 9 am on today, along with nativity proof, minority community certificate and other required documents. As per schedule, their counselling has been completed.

CEE had completed the online application formalities under Kerala NEET 2017 for MBBS, BDS and other medical courses on July 8 and the results were announced on July 14. A total 51,066 candidates have submitted their NEET 2017 UG result for admissions in Kerala.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate admission to MBBS and BDS were held on May 7, 2017. NEET- UG replaces the All India Pre Medical Test () and all individual MBBS conducted by states or colleges themselves. Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research JIPMER are outside the NEET’s purview.
