DMER Maharashtra Medical Admission 2017: The Commissionerate, Common Entrance Cell, (DMER) has announced fourth selection list for non-MBBS course admission in the state of Maharashtra.

DMER Maharashtra Medical Admission 2017: The Commissionerate, Common Entrance Cell, (DMER) has announced fourth selection list for non-MBBS course admission in the state of Maharashtra. About 8,435 students have been allocated admission into non- courses including undergraduate BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses across the state.

As per the DMER guidelines, all the students who have been allocated seat for BDS course need to join their respective college by September 6 upto 3 pm failing which their admission would be considered cancelled. All the colleges have also been instructed to provide the status reports by the same time. For other health science courses last date of joining would be September 11 upto 3 pm and colleges will also file the report by the same time, even if is a holiday.

For getting admission, candidate needs to submit all the original documents and pay requisite fees in the selected college within the stipulated time; failing which this selection stands cancel. Admitting Institute will verify the documents and ascertain eligibility of the candidates as per the NEET 2017 brochure.

DMER said that as per Supreme Court order ST Category candidates not having caste Validity Certificate are not included in the present selection list.

As per the top court direction, the medical admission in the state of Maharashtra like other states are being done on the basis of a NEET 2017 common counselling. This year to grant admission only the is being considered.

The application process for Maharashtra Medical Admission 2017 was started from June 28, 2017. The candidates was asked to apply online. The Medical and Dental seats in the Deemed Universities will be filled through the counselling held by DGHS/MCC. These seats are not covered under Maharashtra Medical Counselling 2017.
