The Bihar School Board (BSEB) which is a nodal agency to conduct Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (BTET) has declared the BTET 2017 Results at its official website – bsebonline.net and biharboard.ac.in. Bihar BSEB BTET 2017 was conducted in July in two shifts across the state. Out of 43794 aspirants appeared for the exam, 7038 passed, said reports. BSEB chairman Anand Kishore said to the reporters on Thursday that only 7,338 candidates qualified from Paper 1, while 20,113 candidates qualified from Paper 2.

As per eligibility rules, a candidates who have acquired degree in Bachelor of Education can sit for the exam. BTET is mandatory for teaching in state schools. In addition to competitive , BSES also conducts annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September. It is the nodal agency for conducting exams and prescribing syllabus and recognising schools in Bihar.

In recent past the board has been in the news for all wrong reasons. Last year, a mega scam broke out leading to arrest of many senior officials including its chairman. Apart from the Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination.

  • Click on BTET link flashing on the homepage
  • A new page will open
  • Enter your registration number and other details
  • Click on submit and your result will be displayed
  • Download BTET 2017 Results and take a print out
