On Wednesday, BPSC has declared the results for BPSC Prelims 2017 examinations and said that the marksheet will be made available to the successful candidates through its official website – bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will release the marksheet for the successful candidates of 60th to 62nd Common Combined competitive preliminary . On Wednesday, BPSC has declared the results for BPSC Prelims 2017 examinations and said that the marksheet with full details will be made available to the successful candidates through its official website – bpsc.bih.nic.in. Once released, the candidates can go to the BPSC website to download BPSC Prelims 2017 marksheet.

To recruit 642 officers for various post in Government of Bihar, BPSC Prelims 2017 was held on February 12, 2017 at 390 centres in 35 district headquarters of the state. About 1,60,086 candidates have appeared in the examination. Out of tha,t 8282 candidates have passed the preliminary examination. Now, all the successful candidates will have to go through a main examination, followed by an round for final selection. Out 8282 candidates, eventually only 642 would be selected for job.

To go to the next round – BPSC Main Examination, the candidates who have passed the Preliminary examination will have to apply for the Main examination. The marks obtained in Main Examination and in Interview conducted by BPSC will be the main criteria for the selection. Selected candidates will get monthly payment of Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 5400, 4800, and 4200.

Steps to download BPSC Prelims 2017 Marksheet

Step 1: Go to official website of the BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link for ‘Marksheet: 60th to 62nd Common Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination’

Step 3: Enter your registration number and other details asked there.

Step 4: Your BPSC Prelims 2017 Marksheet will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Save for your future reference.

The next step for the candidates would be to wait for the opening of online application registration for Main Examination. The examination date is yet to be announced. But with the release of marksheet, BPSC will soon announce the dates for online registration and tentative Main Examination date.
