Bihar Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 online registration to begin soon at bpssc.bih.nic.in

With the aim to fill the vacancy in Bihar Police, the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission has recently released the notification for conducting recruitment test for 1717 vacancy of Police Sub Inspector (SI).

With the aim to fill the vacancy in Bihar Police, the Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service has recently released the notification for conducting recruitment test for 1717 vacancy of Police Sub Inspector (SI) in the state and Bihar Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 registration will begin soon at bpssc.bih..in, said BPSSC. Out of 1717 vacancy, 892 will be selected from general category, 468 candidates from OBC category, 300 and 9 respectively from SC and ST category and 3% seats (48) have been reserved for OBC candidates.

There are different age limit for different category of candidates such as all the male and female candidates from General Category who have not attained the age of 35 years by October 5, 2017 can apply. But they must possess graduate or equivalent degree from a recognised government university. All the successful candidates would be offered a pay scale of 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of 4200, said BPSSC notification.

According to Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission, it will very soon announce the date for application. The application will be sought through online mode. The Commission is already preparing an online platform to management the entire examination process for Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2017.

Bihar Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017 Exam Pattern

In a notification, Bihar Police have given detail overview of the syllabus and pattern of Bihar Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2017. The recruitment exam will be held in two phase – tier I and tier II. All the candidates who passed the first level, will move to the tier II level. The preliminary examination will be of 200 marks with 100 questions that candidates will have to solve it in two hours. It will be an objective exam with negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answers.

All the candidates who successfully clear the preliminary examination will be asked to appear in the main examination. The main examination will have two papers – one for Hindi language with 200 marks and 100 questions. A candidate will have to score at least 30 to pass the exam. It will be of two hours.

The second paper will be will be of 200 marks, 100 questions and two hours duration. The questions would be asked from General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Intelligence. All the papers will be objective type with negative marking of 0.2 marks for each wrong answers. The date for online application form is yet to be announced but according to BPSSC, it will be announced soon.
