Dhaka — Evaly, a digital e-commerce company in Bangladesh that is facing allegations of various irregularities said it has received orders of 53,000 Realme brand smartphones just in an hour time on its platform.
The company receives this huge number of orders in just an hour on Saturday from 10:10 pm to 11:10 pm, said Evaly’s managing director Mohammad Russell on Facebook.
The market price of Realme newly launched smartphone in Bangladesh is 24,990 taka. However, Evaly is selling it at a special discount of Tk 19,990.
The company claims that its exclusive campaign has received 53000 orders. Earlier, the T10 campaign had received orders for 200 crore taka of the campaign’s products, Evaly said.
Meanwhile, there are various allegations against Evaly, including the delay in delivering the goods ordered by the buyer.
According to a report by Bangladesh Bank, the company has six times more debt than its assets. According to the report, the total liability of Evaly is 407 crore taka. But the resources are only 65 crore taka.
In the context of the ACC’s ban, on Friday evening, in a status given from his account on social media Facebook. Russell referred to the issue as “positive.”
He writes, ‘I am looking positively at my ban on going abroad. My relationship with all the big companies in Bangladesh. Maybe they wouldn’t tell me about their fears for loving me. We have done business with everyone. Now they will get more confidence. ‘

In addition, if you investigate, everyone will see how much the old order is going daily. There is a loss in business development, I will make a profit by doing business in less time. Because our purchase price is much lower than the market price. The overall activities of the government are to protect the interests of the people.
Complaints have been lodged against 10 e-commerce companies, not just Evaly. As a result, 10 online merchants, including Evaly and Alesha Mart, have suspended credit, debit and prepaid card transactions, while several commercial banks, including Prime Bank, Mutual Trust Bank (MTB), BRAC Bank, Bank Asia and Dhaka Bank, have suspended transactions. UCB and Citibank have also warned their customers about these online merchant transactions.
The banned companies are Evaly, Alesha Mart, E-Orange, Dhamaka Shopping, Sirajganj Shopping, Aladdin’s Lamp, Boom Boom, Qcoom, Adian Mart and Needs.com BD.
