Dhaka — The e-commerce company e-Orange has sparked widespread discussions over the contract of former national team captain Mashrafe bin Mortuza. After the road blockade of Gulshan-1 in the capital, e-Orange, an e-commerce platform customer has gathered in front of the house of former Bangladesh national team captain and MP Mashrafe bin Mortuza.
The victims have been standing there for two hours. In this situation, several policemen were also seen in front of Mashrafe’s house. The victims claimed that they had paid to buy products from the company after listening to Mashrafe. But now e-Orange is not delivering or refunding their products.
On Monday, more than 200 victims gathered in front of Mashrafe Bin Mortuza’s house in Mirpur-12’s B-block from E-Orange’s office at 137 Road, Gulshan-1.
Although e-Orange said in a post on its official Facebook page on Monday, they no longer have a relationship with Mashrafe. One of the victims, Russell, said they bought the voucher from e-Orange after seeing Mashrafe.
He claimed that Mashrafe had spoken to officials from the accused e-commerce company. He also requested them to return the money to the customers. He said, “If there is no solution here, then we will go to Pallabi police station to file a case.”
