The Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar spoke on the occasion. BTRC chairman Shyamsunder Sikder said there have been 431 reports on YouTube in the last year. Of these, 62 have been removed.

However, the state body has shown 100% success in closing the website or link. The BTRC has shut down 1,060 websites after receiving complaints. In this regard, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar said that the biggest crime is the Internet.

The Internet is a field that no one can control. Even after shutting down Facebook with any technology, Facebook can be used with another technology. We have no choice but to express our helplessness in this situation. You have heard of VPN and this VPN is a very necessary thing. It is the greatest tool for crime.

In this regard, BTRC Chairman Shyamsunder Sikder further said, Facebook, , YouTube run according to their own standards. We can’t stop them from this country if we want to. We can only request. But according to their standards, these do not fall under the policy of closure. So, they don’t stop.
