SBI to hire 41 specialist cadre officers (Law), registration begins on Sept 15

India's largest public sector bank State Bank Of India (SBI) is hiring 41 specialist cadre officer who will deal with legal matters, said a notification.

India’s largest bank State Bank Of India (SBI) is hiring 41 specialist cadre officer who will deal with legal matters, said a notification. While releasing the notification, bank said that 40 individuals will be hired as deputy manager (Law) and one deputy general managed (Law).

To fill this vacancy, SBI will conduct a national level online written test and interview for on November 11, 2017. Bank will activate the online application link on September 15 and the last date to registration is October 6. Around October 25, bank will issue the Admit Card (Call Letter) for written . Once released can be downloaded from SBI’s website.

The test is scheduled to be held in cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, , Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, , Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres.

The deputy general manager will be selected through short listing and personal interview. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their qualification, experience and overall suitability for interview. The qualifying marks in interviews will be decided by the SBI. The merit list will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained by candidates in the interview. The last date for receipt of hard copy of online application along with enclosures for deputy general manager post is October 10, 2017.

SBI has advised that a candidate should check eligibility conditions like age, educational qualification and experience for the positions offered in the notification before they apply. “Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the post they are applying,” said notification.
