Dell Technologies has launched its 2026 commercial computing portfolio in India, bringing AI-capable laptops, high-performance workstations and video conferencing hardware to enterprise buyers as demand grows for devices that can run artificial intelligence workloads locally.
The company unveiled the Dell Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 laptop families alongside Dell Pro Precision tower and rack workstations at Dell Technologies Forum 2026 in Mumbai on 2 September. The lineup also includes a 43-inch conferencing display, a professional QD-OLED monitor and a 4K webcam with AI-assisted features.
Prices for the Dell Pro notebooks start at ₹1,27,429 for the entry-level Pro 3 14-inch model. The mid-range Pro 5 begins at ₹1,30,969 while the Pro 7 starts at ₹1,43,370. Convertible variants of the Pro 7 carry higher starting prices of ₹1,62,722 for the 13-inch model.
The products were first announced globally earlier in 2026 but are now being made available to Indian commercial customers. Dell is positioning the hardware for organisations that want to decide where AI processing takes place, whether on a laptop’s neural processing unit (NPU), a hardware component dedicated to accelerating AI calculations, or on workstation-class graphics processors and data centre infrastructure.
Dell notebook configurations
The Pro 3, Pro 5 and Pro 7 sit at different levels of Dell’s mainstream commercial range. The Pro 3 targets large-scale business deployments and everyday productivity. The Pro 5 offers greater configuration flexibility including optional 5G connectivity, OLED displays and upgradeable memory. The Pro 7 emphasises thinness and mobility, with Dell claiming the 13-inch model is up to 18 per cent thinner than its predecessor.
All three families can be configured with Intel Core and Core Ultra Series 3 processors or AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400-series chips. AMD’s platform can provide up to 60 TOPS of NPU performance, where TOPS measures trillions of operations per second, a common benchmark for AI acceleration hardware. Intel configurations similarly incorporate dedicated NPU acceleration.
Dell claims battery life approaching 23 hours for certain configurations, though actual runtime varies substantially with processor, display, software and workload.
Workstation pricing
The more substantial AI hardware sits in the Dell Pro Precision 9 range, consisting of T2, T4 and T6 tower systems. These can be configured with Intel Xeon 600-series processors with as many as 86 CPU cores and NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell graphics.
The Precision 9 T6 is the most expandable of the three. Dell says it can accommodate as many as 15 PCIe slots, up to five 300W NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs and a maximum storage configuration reaching 316TB. This level of GPU capacity allows organisations to keep certain AI development and inference workloads physically near employees or sensitive corporate data instead of sending everything to a public cloud.
Indian starting prices are ₹3.48 lakh for the Precision 9 T2, ₹5.08 lakh for the T4 and ₹6.23 lakh for the T6.
Dell is also bringing the Pro Precision 7 R1 rack workstation to India. Unlike the tower machines intended to sit near a user, the R1 is a 1U rack workstation designed for centralised installation. It can be configured with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 desktop processors and up to an NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU, along with as much as 128GB of DDR5 ECC memory and 64TB of combined storage. The Precision 7 R1 starts at ₹2.50 lakh.
Collaboration hardware
Dell’s announcement extends beyond computing devices. The Dell Pro P 43 4K Huddle Conferencing Monitor is a 42.5-inch display intended for small meeting rooms. It integrates an 8-megapixel camera capable of 4K video with a 120-degree field of view, AI-assisted group framing, four beamforming microphones with noise cancellation and two front-facing speakers. The monitor can connect to a laptop through USB-C and provide up to 100W of power while carrying display, camera and audio traffic. It is priced at ₹1,27,199 in India.

The Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED is a 31.5-inch professional monitor aimed at colour-critical applications. QD-OLED refers to Quantum Dot OLED technology, which combines the colour range of quantum dots with the contrast of organic light-emitting diodes. Dell specifies 99 per cent coverage of DCI-P3 and Display P3 colour spaces, 100 per cent sRGB and support for Dolby Vision. A built-in colorimeter, a device that measures colour accuracy, enables hardware-assisted calibration. The Indian starting price is ₹2,37,899.
The Dell Pro 7 Webcam 4K records at up to 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60 frames per second using a Sony STARVIS sensor. Dell has added AI-assisted auto-framing, face tracking, automatic exposure and gesture controls. The webcam supports Windows Hello facial authentication and presence sensing. It is priced at ₹29,340 in India.
Running AI locally can offer latency and privacy benefits, but it also means more company data resides on individual endpoints. Dell says its commercial PCs include protections covering BIOS and firmware verification, credential storage and attack detection. AMD-powered models add platform technologies including AMD Secure Processor and Memory Guard.
The launch comes as India’s premium PC market shows strong growth. For enterprise buyers, the calculation extends beyond processor or GPU performance to include fleet manageability, hardware security, repairability and enterprise support.
