Anand Eswaran

Anand Eswaran is the Chief Executive Officer of Veeam Software, a privately held data protection, backup and data resilience company. He was appointed CEO of Veeam and joined the company’s board of directors in December 2021, succeeding Bill Largent, who moved to the role of chairman.

Before joining Veeam, Eswaran served as President and Chief Operating Officer at RingCentral. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, where he was responsible for the company’s Enterprise Commercial and Public Sector business globally. He also led Microsoft Services, Industry Solutions, Digital, Customer Care and Customer Success, a global organisation of about 24,000 professionals.

Prior to Microsoft, Eswaran was Executive Vice President of SAP’s Global Services business, overseeing a large services organisation focused on enterprise applications. He has also held leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Vignette, now part of OpenText, and Braun Consulting, now part of Fair Isaac.

Eswaran is also associated with the Technology Services Industry Association, where he has been described as a founding member and former executive advisory board member. In April 2026, F5 appointed him to its board of directors, where he serves on the Audit and Talent and Compensation Committees.

He holds a master’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai.
