Civil Services Prelims 2017: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2017 admit cards on its official website – upsc.gov.in. The students have applied for the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2017 can download their admit card now.

As per the UPSC schedule, the examination will be held on June 18. In order to download UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2017 admit card, the candidate will have to visit the website and enter their login credential. The UPSC for 980 posts in different departments will be held at different test centres across the country on June 18.

The exams will be conducted in two successive stages – Preliminary (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the main examination and Civil Services (Main) Examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts announced.

There will be negative marking for wrong answers by a candidate in the objective type question papers.

Candidates who qualify for the preliminary exam will go for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination. They will have to apply online again in a new form provided to them. The main examination is likely to be held in October 2017.
