A new year means new mobile phones and there is a lot to look forward to in 2025. Read on as we rank the most anticipated handsets for 2025.

Apple iPhone 17

We begin with the Apple iPhone 17 series and this is expected to launch in the second half of the year. That means Apple fans will have to wait for their latest device but it will be worth it with at least four devices being released in the iPhone 17 series. One of the most talked about potential features of the iPhone 17 is set to come on the Pro and Pro Max models. There are rumours that the handset could be part aluminium and part glass, with the camera layout in a horizontal position.

We could also see the launch of the iPhone 17 Air, which will be lighter and slimmer than other models. However, the larger displays that support 120Hz refresh rates are set to be on the standard iPhone 17 handsets, making them perfect for gaming, movies, and streaming live . With online gambling sites now offering more live streaming than ever, using a 1win promo code is a no brainer when it comes to live betting and streaming on the iPhone 17.

Samsung Galaxy S25

We stay with the big names for the next of our most hyped new handsets for 2025, the Samsung Galaxy S25. This could be one of the first major mobile devices to be launched in 2025, with January and February potential months for release.

The  Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the version of this handset everyone is looking forward to seeing and we expect a larger 6.86-inch screen plus a curvier overall design. We will see a chipset upgrade in the Samsung Galaxy S25 with the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite plus a 200MP primary camera on the Ultra handset, which is fantastic.

Google Pixel 10

The launch of the Google Pixel 10 is expected to be later in the year, perhaps September at the earliest. That means plenty of time to build up anticipation and while there are not expected to be many changes in the design of the handset from the Pixel 9 series, Google could be powered by the Tensor G5 SoC.

This is the first created by Google from scratch and is an exciting development. The operating experience will also be new on the Pixel 10 thanks to the introduction of Android 16 and we are expecting many new AI features on the phone plus a nice range of colours from which to choose.

OnePlus 13

The OnePlus 13 has already been released in China but for the rest of the world, this is one of the most hyped handsets for 2025. The good thing about the OnePlus 13 is that we have concrete details on what to expect from the device when it is launched across the world, hopefully in the first quarter of 2025.

The hardware is excellent, and this handset is complete with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite, a maximum of 1 TB UFS 4.0 , and up to 24 GB of RAM. The battery is not always the most discussed element of a smartphone but we must include it here because the OnePlus 13 has a silicon-carbon based battery. That means 2 days or more of regular use without the need to charge.

Some of the other most hyped new handsets for 2025 include Xiaomi 15, Honor Magic 7, 14 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi Note 15, Motorola Razr 60 Series, and Vivo X300.
