EDB onboards Ramesh Mamgain as VP to boost India strategy

EnterpriseDB (EDB) has announced the of as its new Vice President for the India and region. This appointment marks a significant step in EDB’s strategy to enhance its presence and operations in India, said the company.

Mamgain most recently served as the Global COE sales leader at Solace and previously as the Country Manager and Area Vice President for India and SAARC at Commvault, where he played a leadership role in expanding the company’s operations and driving substantial business growth​.

Mamgain began his career way back in 1989 with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) where he spent 10 years as Scientist before moving to corporate world in 2004. In a career spanning over two decades, Mamgain has worked with organisations such as EMC, Amdocs and Sun Microsystem.

In his new role at EDB, Mamgain will be tasked with leading the expansion efforts across India and South Asia, leveraging his extensive experience to drive growth and enhance EDB’s market presence. His responsibilities will include strategic oversight, business development, and strengthening client relationships in these regions. He will report to Stuart Fisher, VP & GM, APJ at EDB, and will be based out of Delhi.

Ramesh’s expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving our expansion efforts and serving clients across new geographies,” said Stuart Fisher.

With an increasing number of enterprises embracing open-source technologies, India is poised for exponential growth in its digital infrastructure and innovation ecosystem.
