Islami Bank Bangladesh launches new campaign to push digital prepaid card

This information has been informed in a notification on Thursday (September 9). Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has Visa Dual Currency Prepaid Card.

Dhaka: The Islami Bank’s Dual Currency users will get the highest number of foreign currency transactions in smartphones. And 1% cashback will be available if remittance or payment is deposited from abroad in dual currency or existing Selfin Prepaid Card. The offer will run until October 30 this year.

This information has been informed in a notification on Thursday (September 9). Islami Bank Limited has Visa Dual Currency Prepaid Card.

This card in two formats, plastic and virtual (selfin) can be used without a bank account. With this card balance and foreign currency transactions can be done, there is also an opportunity for payment in any domestic and foreign e- site.

In addition, instant remittances and freelancing payments can be accepted through Visa Direct service from any country in the world. Islami Bank’s Dual Currency Plastic Prepaid Card can be accepted instantly from any branch / sub-branch.

And Selfin users can get an additional dual currency card number () by sending a request from their app. However, for dual currency transactions, passport endorsement has to be done through the branch.

In this case, the foreign exchange limit set by Bangladesh Bank is a maximum of $300 per transaction and $12,000 per year.
