‘Sulov Bazar’ with bKash payments for garment workers

The 'Sulov Bazar' outlet was launched on Sunday (September 5) at the premises of Pandora Sweaters in Gazipur by a joint venture of Market Innovation International Limited and Bikash.

Dhaka: Workers of Pandora Sweaters, a subsidiary of Renaissance Group with a bKash now will be able to buy daily necessities at affordable prices from the factory’s ‘.

In addition to buying products on bKash payment, there is 5% cashback till September 30.

Under this offer, they will get a maximum cashback of Tk25 twice a day and a maximum of Tk50 per month in one account. This information has been informed in a press release sent by bKash.

Workers will be able to buy products from the ‘Sulov Bazar’, a shop for daily necessities, including food, at a lower price than the market price inside the factory, without cashing out, and by paying from the developed salary.

This will save workers both time and out costs. It is said in that notification.

Workers and senior officials of the companies were present at the time. It is to be mentioned that keeping in mind the convenience of the workers, the first ‘Sulov Bazar’was launched in Sonia Garments of Ashulia in February this year.

There are plans to launch affordable ‘cheap markets’ in about 15 more garment factories this year.

At present, about seven and a half lakh workers are getting their salaries through development, it was informed in the notification.
